Mungo’s Hifi ft Eva Lazarus
BaianaSystem are the essence of local Brazilian traditions. Influenced by Jamaican sound systems, percussive bass lines merge with Afro-Latin rhythms such as Frevo, Samba-Reggae, Pagode and Kuduro and more to create a truly unique sound. They play EartH after the release of their latest album, O Futuro Não Demora which features collaborations with Manu Chao, BNegão de Planet Hemp and more.
Long-time sound-system dons Glasgow’s Mungo's Hi Fi will support with a live performance of their new album More Fyah, with UK singer and MC Eva Lazarus. Their set will traverse bass roots through reggae, dub and dancehall.
Finishing the line-up will be Rio de Janeiro’s Black Alien, a Brazilian rap legend (check out Planet Hemp); he comes to London for a rare visit celebrating no less than 25 years in hip hop with the album Abaixo de Zero: Hello Hell (Extrapunk Extrafunk, 2019).
