On October 9th we're bringing the icy magic of the Antarctic all the way to Hackney, with the Penguin Cafe playing in support of Greenpeace's campaign to create the largest protected area on Earth - an Antarctic Ocean Sanctuary.

Two sculptures of penguin with long beaks on a beach. The penguins are buried in the sand.

Experience the sights and sounds of the Antarctic from Greenpeace's recent expedition - chock-a-block with penguins, whales and seals which could be protected by the creation of a sanctuary five times the size of Germany.

Over 1.6million people have already backed the campaign worldwide. Join them by signing the petition for the largest protected area on Earth here:  http://protecttheantarctic.org/
