It’s the Christmas Baile! After a string of dates at Boxpark and the Boomtown takeover in summer we are so happy to be back for a late nighter in Dalston at a new venue for us, EartH Kitchen. Join us for one last party of 2022 and one of our strongest lineups to date!

Arthi is someone we’ve had on our list for a long time and she is a perfect fit for what we do. Fusing everything from dancehall to reggaeton to garage and bass, expect to hear high-energy blends of your favourite artists fused with underground club sounds and old school throwbacks. Arthi has sold-out headline shows across Europe and this year she’s played everywhere from Shangri-La at Glastonbury, FourTet’s All-Dayer at Finsbury Park and a pop-up rave in east London hosted by Fred Again as well as being tour DJ to UK funky legend Katy B. Arthi regularly appears on radio as a resident DJ and presenter at Rinse FM with guest mixes on BBC Radio 1Xtra, BBC Asian Network, Foundation FM, NTS and more.

Sensei Lo is a versatile and evolving DJ and Producer that specializes in Afro Dance Music & Electronic Music. Her career was launched in January 2014 as Resident DJ for Blak Lounge Elegushi, a prestigious club at the famous Elegushi Private beach in Lagos. Sensei is on one of our favourite labels, More Time Records. She has performed at numerous Local and International events, Including the Chale Wote Art festival Accra 2016 – 2018, BUDX Abuja, BBC, Glastonbury Festival 2020 [The Common] also is now part of the Lagos-based Afro Electronic DJ Collective known The Village Sound System and is the resident DJ at Bounce Radio Live and recently Oroko Radio as well as Centro Sul Radio, making her a powerful force to be reckoned with in the Nigerian entertainment Industry. Sensei Lo has Shared the stage with Eno Napa, Boddhi Satva, Black Motion and Major Lazer, to name a few. Her motive is to spread the healing power of happiness through music and dance.

They’ll be joined by residents Emily Dust and Mango Park who will be repping their signature blend of underground São Paulo submundo funk, 150bpm funk from Rio, club edits and everything in between. This year has seen the Baile crew take over a stage at Boomtown festival, run regular nights at Boxpark including World Cup specials for the Brazil games and travel to Paris to play with the legendary Couvre x Chefs collective.

Baile LDN was formed in 2019 to celebrate the links between baile funk, gqom, afrohouse and other bass-heavy club sounds.
