BORN::FREE is one of London’s leading platforms for experimental; African and Afro-diasporic poetry and new writing.
With a focus on critique, creation and craft, BORN::FREE presents the next edition of Veranda. A series of experimental performance events centering emerging and established voices.
December’s edition features Darius McFarlane, Hibaq Osman and Sugar who will be joined by the Veranda house band, led by Nathaniel Ricketts.
Curated by writer/educator Belinda Zhawi, writer/theatre-maker Malakai Sargeant and writer/filmmaker Chima Nsoedo. Expect and informal yet insightful evening of live performance and readings packed with deep laughs and deep hums; many lessons and many blessings.
