Efterklang

There’s something understatedly beautiful about Efterklang’s choice in album title on Windflowers, their sixth full length. It’s named after the anemones that pop up in the Danish forests when spring is on the way, “it becomes a nice metaphor for hope and change, but also the dreams you put in when you make a new album,” explained bass player Rasmus Stolberg to The Yorkshire Post.
By the time spring comes around again for us, Efterklang will be ready to play in EartH in March. Before then, we’ll be enjoying their Spotify playlist of recommendations, featuring everything from Baxter Dury to Peter Broderick and The Durutti Column alongside some of their own tracks.
