The musical journey of Hackney-born afrobeat originator Dele Sosimi has taken him from Fela Kuti’s band Egypt 80 to an incredible solo career with 4 studio albums and an array of exciting live shows. His most recent venture is his LIVE set with South London’s renowned DJ and producer Medlar.

The pair first joined forces seven years ago, when Medlar was asked by Dele’s label to remix the title track from his last album, You No Fit Touch Am. The result was possibly one of the most popular and cherished remixes to appear on the imprint. The producer’s respect for the history of Afrobeat shined through in the mix of course, but it was his ability to finely balance that with his house music instincts whilst adding an infectious groove and classic 80s analogue synths that really stood out.

Fresh off the back of a series of summer shows and their recent State of Play EP, Dele & Medlar are ready to shell it down for our 6th edition of Guava Jamz. Expect synthy keys, twangy strings and funky bassy afro beats!

Poly-Ritmo
Poly-Ritmo has become well known for her expert knowledge of the dusty corners of Brazilian, jazz, soul and disco, which you can hear on her monthly show on Worldwide FM. Having had to cancel a gig with her in Dec 2021 due to covid, we are soo excited to finally have Polly join us at Earth to get us all dancing in the early hours.

Conrad Lee
Conrad is our resident and has had an epic summer in London, recently securing an affirming booking from Secretsundaze that has helped to expose his slick and unique ability behind the decks. Conrad is moving towards big things as we step back into club season and he’ll be bringing a 2.5hr set traversing a wide range of musical styles, jumping between disco, funk, house, techno as well as a wide range of afro-centric dance music.

The last entry time for all late club shows at EartH (Hall + Kitchen) will be 1:00 am.
