GusGus

Hailing from Iceland, GusGus are renowned for an ever-evolving sound and lineup. Fronted by singer/songwriter Daniel Ágúst Haraldsson and producer Birgir Þórarinsson, the group’s music embraces trip-hop, house, techno and trance has been championed by the likes of 4AD and Kompakt.

In 2021 the band returned with Mobile Home, the eleventh studio album and first album release since 2018. For their latest record, GusGus call on VÖK’s lead singer Margrét Rán to help expand their style, keeping the collective’s sound as fresh as ever. The 9-track album features a concoction of electronic rock, ambient, darkwave, downtempo, and synthpop.
