Home For All: raising awareness about issues surrounding homelessness

Shutdown presents HOME FOR ALL: World Homeless Day X World Mental Health Day Special Edition.

A Spoken Word Poetry, Social Activism and Charity event raising money and awareness for Stonewall Housing.

An Event ran by LGBTQ+ homeless and ex-homeless young people. Raising awareness and starting conversations about issues surrounding homelessness.

FEATURES:

Performances from Joelle Taylor, Neanderthal Bard, and spoken word poetry and music due Sola Janet Browne & Beatriz Vöx Menendez.

The event will be hosted by the talented performance poet, Slam finalist, compare and facilitator Russeni Fisher

We will be holding a pre-show discussion with the artists and representatives of relevant charities and organisations about issues surrounding homelessness and mental health, and how these two things interlink.

We are also lucky enough to have an amazing DJ and activist (working with the Outside Project & LGSMigrants) Harry Gay to vibe us through the evening.
