Quantic

21:30 - 03:30

Please note the above timings relate to doors (opening and closing times). Performance times may vary.

From party-fuelled house beats to laidback hip-hop cuts, spiralling electronic productions to ambient slow jams; the diversity of Quantic’s musical talent is boundless. His 2001 album, The 5th Exotic, has become a global electronic music cult classic with a string of popular releases since.

A multiplex of influences has crafted his sound, with his origins in fuzzy jazz licks and dusty hip-hop beats intertwining with the sounds he experienced during his life in Columbia. The result was a string of hit releases encompassing unabashedly beautiful balladry shot through with languid surf guitar, pattering drums and tender vocals.

Joining him on the night will be London native, Steven Julien. No stranger to groove, he has gained popularity as a skilled and soulful technician of electronic music, whether that’s behind the decks as a NTS Resident or behind a sequencer releasing on the likes of Eglo Records. Andreya Triana also plays the bill, bringing her pop fuelled electronic rhythms to EartH hall.
