Summertime and the livin is – easy, teasy titty squeezie! 🫦💦 Sex and Rage is back to help you catch summer whines, feels and sexy times – and what better way to round off Pride AND celebrate our very own Venus’ birthday than by being on our worst, most dutty behaviour for her Dirty Thirty😜🔥 Featuring old and new friends on the decks, on the main floor and on the pole in the mezzanine, we promise you the butteriest, baddest and bougiest Strip Club Experience centering lesbian and dyke identifying women, non-binary people in the city – if not the country! This is going to be the fiercest and filthiest party of the summer – you don’t want to miss it, baby.
We’re challenging the serious lack of representation of lesbian club nights by curating events that are by and for our community. At the same time, we’re advocating for change within the sex entertainment industry – we prioritise the safety and well-being of our dancers, and challenge the idea that the only people who want to participate as consumers of sexual entertainment are, well, men.
Sex and Rage is more than just a club night. We are an organisation led by sex workers, educators and activists. We resist stigma and shame as the main causes of sexual and gender-based violence, and aim to make social change through sex education. Our work explores the intersections between sex workers rights and those of women, sexual minorities and marginalised communities; we offer events and workshops that engage in dialogue, creative and embodied practices as a way to empower individuals and communities living in oppressive systems.
This space prioritises women, trans-masc and femme-presenting non-binary people and those who identitfy as lesbian/bisexual. Strictly no TERFS/SWERFS allowed. We will have an active safer spaces policy in place that will be enforced on the night.
Your ticket includes a £1 restoration levy for EartH Hackney, the levy will also go towards helping our music education projects at EartH, artist studios and maintenance needed to keep the building functional, as well as improving access facilities for each of the three spaces within EartH.
As this space prioritises women, trans-masc and femme-presenting non-binary people and those who identitfy as lesbian/bisexual we are asking cis-men to pay more on the door. We reserve the right to remove you from our party if you display harmful, abusive or behaviours that are causing distress to everyone inside. This will be dealt with in a case by case basis.
