This event is now cancelled, please see below for a statement from the band:

“We are very disappointed to announce that we are, for the time being, cancelling our upcoming ‘Tunng presents…Dead Club’ shows with Max Porter and will hopefully revisit the idea in the near future. We’ve been looking forward to this for a long time and have been doing our best to keep plans afloat but several Covid related factors have made it very difficult for us to continue.

We’re very very grateful to those of you who have bought tickets, or planned to and we know we’ll see you again soon. We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused by this.

Our hearts go out to anyone who is suffering at the moment and we’re sending you our love and best wishes. Tunng x”

“…what Tunng have shown with ‘Presents…Dead Club’ is that addressing grief and death doesn’t have to be devastating. It can be thought-provoking. It can also be simply pleasurable.”
The Quietus

“Rich with clarinet and strings, this is an album of murmured wise advice”
Financial Times (4/5)

“This is Tunng’s great victory: to create an artwork that is not depressing but rather inspiring, an ode to life with or without our beloved ones.”
