EartH and Village Underground are launching Support the Support, a campaign to spotlight support acts and opening DJs, encourage curiosity towards upcoming artists and DJs and invite their audiences to come out and show up for the next generation of talent.
Previous support acts at the venues have gone on to headline Village Underground and EartH, and some of the largest and most prestigious venues in the world: Nilufer Yanya, Laura Mvula, George Ezra, Young Fathers, Emma-Jean Thackray, Christine & the Queens, Sylvan Esso, Jorja Smith, HAAi, Moxie, Joy Crookes, Jordan Mackampa and Wu-Lu.
Our joint campaign aims to ensure that audiences don’t miss out on discovering new music and that they make the most of the experience their ticket offers. They also hope that this will help artists and DJs build their fanbase, leading people to buy their albums, stream their music and buy tickets to future shows.
To further encourage people to arrive early, the campaign will involve a 10% discount at the bar for the first hour of opening.
Turning up early is also a way to support our venues who, along with the whole live music sector, have been facing crisis after crisis in recent years.
SO COME OUT & SHOW UP FOR THE NEXT GENERATION OF TALENT!
