Amaliah

Amaliah has flourished in her recent years as an up-and-coming staple in the London underground
scene and has proven to be a strong advocate for varying dance genres in and around the UK.
Her early days consisted of high energy disco, soul and funk sets where she found her path to her
DJ career. This exploration derived from her love for record collecting, which she had been doing for a
few years prior. After taking the plunge of booking her first gig, she later saw growing success and
became involved with stations like Balamii Radio and Foundation FM. Later her career saw her
performing at clubs and bars such as Brilliant Corners and The BBE Store, which then encouraged
her to later start her own events collective, Borne Fruits.

Borne Fruits was created by Amaliah so she could throw parties she knew her friends would enjoy,
whilst also focusing on the importance of the music. There were no frills, no London prices and no
hype, it was just all about creating a welcoming vibe. The ethos of a Borne Fruits event is to epitomise
a house party feel and this was actioned through Amaliah championing London’s homegrown talent.
Since the early days of Borne Fruits, Amaliah has now started her own productions whilst her DJ
career has prospered. This has now led to Borne Fruits being launched as a record label, which has
so far seen one release of Amaliah’s debut EP featuring two club ready tracks to get the party started.
After receiving coverage from RA and a ‘Single Of The Day’ from the platform, more fruitful plans lie
ahead for the new and exciting label.

Amaliah has lived up to her claim of being ‘one to watch for 2021’ by securing bookings as a DJ in
iconic venues such as fabric, Oval Space, Corsica Studios, a residency at The Cause and a pinnacle
all night long b2b at The Pickle Factory with fellow affiliate Shanti Celeste – a fabulous way to round
off an exciting year.

2022 sees Amaliah continuing to grow with gigs outside of London in musical hubs such as Bristol,
Leeds and Manchester, as well as a busy summer ahead with bookings at We Out Here, Gala,
Waterworks and Eastern Electrics. Keep an eye on her upcoming moves, gigs, productions and listen
out for her bouncy, vibrant and dance ready sets that are always set to get the party started
