1/5 of YARD Records in London and 1/2 of Mehmooni Soundsystem, Milli is a North West London native who blends the Persian and Arabic music he grew up with into his dance filled sets, moving from chilled ambient to hip shaking loud clappin’ world beats and vocals whenever the dance floor is in need of such vibes. Having grown up in London’s underground grime and heavy metal scene, he began playing all night long sets at the SOAS Bar in Russell Square, a place he calls his spiritual home, and more notably, the place Paul Robeson studied and where Nirvana had their first UK Show.
