Having no musical background or formal teaching, Sri-Lankan born Londoner Suren Seneviratne aka My Panda Shall Fly had gone through many an incarnation until he found where he was comfortable – from shoe-gaze, post-rock in his early teens to sound manipulation and experimentation in his later years.

Coming from a formal Fine Art background, My Panda Shall Fly went on to release his debut EP on Dam Mantle’s Growing Records & Wichita Recordings – which saw incredible support from the likes of Pitchfork, Dazed Digital, Clash Magazine, XLR8R, The Fader, The Independent, Dummy Mag & more. Following that came an onslaught of incredible remixes for the likes of The Weeknd, Fink, Psychologist, Terror Danjah & Little Boots.

A multi-disciplinary artist & musician based in London, My Panda Shall Fly has released music on many international record labels including Project Mooncircle, Five Easy Pieces, Tape Club, Gang of Ducks, Activia Benz & Soundway and performed extensively across Europe at platforms like Tate Modern, Barbican, Boiler Room, Resonance FM, BBC Radio & more. Recent work includes sound design for Roundhouse, Sadler’s Wells, Novation and Google Daydream VR.
