Sans Soucis

Sans Soucis is an Italo-Congolese, London-based singer-songwriter, composer, producer and guitarist — active since 2016 and releasing music independently since 2017. Born and raised in a pond of Italian and international classics including the musical poetry of Mina, Pino Daniele and Joni Mitchell, Sans Soucis shaped her contemporary songwriting and production style around a wide palette of artists including Laura Mvula, Kings of Convenience, Jungle, Little Dragon, James Blake, Tame Impala, Fatoumata Diawara and Lianne La Havas. She has previously performed at iconic London venues such as Union Chapel, Rich Mix and O’Meara and showcased her music internationally. Her latest release, The Lover EP (2019), funded by PRS Foundation’s Women Make Music Fund, has gained international acclaim through support from BBC 1Xtra (Jamz Supernova), BBC Radio 6 (Tom Robinson), Rai Radio 2 (Carlo Pastore), Bandcamp, The Selector, Worldwide FM and BBC Introducing London, forging the UK scene with her personal touch of folk and soul with sparkles of psychedelic pop and jazz.
